Yoga Clay Workshop

Set in the beautiful Dorset Countryside we shared a day of yoga and clay for all abilities; Enjoying a day of opening up and understanding of our bodies through movement and making. I am keen to make more contacts with interior designers.ur senses.

A nourishing Ayurvedic lunch was served along with refreshments throughout the day. More information is on the Yoga Clay Page.

I love teaching and sharing my passion for clay.

As well as the pottery I do for our Yoga clay, I do workshops for well being at places of work such as the hospital staff club. I do workshops for Hen Doā€™s, social groups and for children. I have ran pottery workshops for the elderly. I currently run an after school Pottery club in a school and I am keen to do pottery workshops for childrenā€™s parties.

If any adult has been to one or two of my workshops, there may be the possibility of a DIY party too. I have organised some already.

I can offer Pottery workshops for Birthday treats such as a friend bringing another friend.

My workshops do not include throwing on a wheel as I do not own a wheel, however there are plenty of wonderful things that you can make or sculpt in clay without the wheel.

There is an option to make work that can be fired and glazed in my kiln and also we can use air drying cly that can be taken home straight away.

Yoga Draw

A New workshop with Tina Stanton Yoga Instructor and me.

Two and a half hours beginning with a yoga practice, suitable for all abilities to feel present, comfortable and aware of our own bodies. Next there will be a short tea break followed by a drawing session. Tina will pose for us in yoga positions. I am an experienced life drawing teacher and will guide us through a series of short poses using techniques that will help us to understand how to get the main directions and proportions of the figure. As we go through the process beginners will become more confident and more experienced drawers will become more fluid. we will then be ready for slightly longer poses.

We would like you to bring your own sketch books and drawing materials, yoga mats and blocks, if you need them. However we will have some extra equipment with us, but to be sure theres enough please let us know if you need them.
